Final Testing Specialist
We're looking for a Final Testing Specialist to join our manufacturing team and make sure every system that leaves our production floor is fully validated, stable and ready for our enterprise customers. You'll be the last checkpoint before release. You'll run power-on, functional and stress tests, diagnose failures down to component level, and work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve defects and improve yield.
What you’ll do
- Carry out power-on validation and functional and system-level testing of servers.
- Run stress tests and reboot cycles to confirm system stability, and verify that Windows and Linux boot correctly.
- Configure and validate system settings through BIOS and BMC, and perform firmware and driver updates.
- Validate RAID configurations, storage devices and controllers.
- Analyze failures, isolate root causes and support issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain test records, logs and failure reports, following ESD safety practices at all times.
- Drive yield improvement and defect reduction using Lean, Kaizen and poka-yoke methods.
What we’re looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in server testing or electronics manufacturing, ideally in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong understanding of server hardware architecture, components, storage technologies and RAID.
- Hands-on experience with stress testing tools, BIOS/BMC configuration and firmware/driver updates.
- Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments, with basic networking and IP configuration knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting skills at system and component level, and the ability to read technical documentation.
- Basic Python or experience with automated diagnostic tools is a plus.
- High attention to detail, a proactive approach and good communication skills.
