IQC Inspector
We're looking for an IQC (Incoming Quality Control) Inspector to join our manufacturing quality assurance team and make sure every raw material, part and component we receive meets the standards our enterprise customers depend on. You'll be the first line of quality at Kerno. You'll inspect supplier deliveries before they reach production or the warehouse, flag non-conformances early, and work with suppliers to fix problems at the source.
- Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections on incoming parts and raw materials (such as, mechanical parts).
- Verify supplier documentation, including purchase orders, quantities, invoices, Certificates of Analysis (COA), test reports and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) records.
- Classify materials as accepted, rejected or conditionally approved, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Escalate quality issues and issue Corrective Action Requests (CARs) to suppliers to resolve problems.
- Maintain inspection logs, reports (soft and hard copy) and quality tracking metrics.
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- 5–7 years of experience in the electronics, automotive or medical industries.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
- Working knowledge of sampling plans (e.g. MIL-STD-105D / AQL) and quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and clear communication.
